About us
Tabak Coop is a private family company engaged in the production of tobacco on the territory of Serbia as well as the export of tobacco. We are characterized by a long history that has been going on since the year 2000, when we took the first initial steps in the production of tobacco.
Tabak Coop – Tobacco Industry is a family company located in Maradik, Vojvodina, Serbia, an excellent location, only 8 km from the E-75 highway and 3 km from the regional road, between Belgrade and Novi Sad. In the Srem region, which is well known for the quality arable land and the cultivation of tobacco for many decades.
We are proud of our past while looking and investing into our future.
Our Beginning
We started business way back in the year 2000 as a family agricultural household with one dryer for drying and growing tobacco on 3 hectares. In the following years, we progressed, expanded our capacity and developed our business, and in 2022 we took one step further and started a new area by opening a company for the export of tobacco to the foreign market and the tobacco production in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
This is how we completed the process of tobacco production and its market placement.
Cooperation
With our long-term experience of over 2 decades in this field and a number of the best experts, we are here to provide our partners with the best conditions for production and complete support in the form of financing, procurement of seeds, mineral fertilizers, raw materials, dryers for drying tobacco, greenhouses for seedlings, agricultural machinery and tillage machines, as well as complete monitoring of production from start to finish with safe placement of products.
Our experts counsel, guide and supervise the entire production process with our manufacturers.
Production
Today, our production consists of plantations of about 100 hectares of Virginia tobacco, and we aim to increase production in the coming years.
Storage
We have a specially equipped warehouses for storing tobacco until its placement on the foreign market.
Export
We are ready to sell our tobacco – at the request of customers in leaves or processed (strips) – to foreign partners on the markets of Europe and the world.
Quality
Tobaccos originating from our region are widely known in the world for their quality, favorable characteristics and richness in nicotine.
